Large developments have become a common sight across Norwich in the last decade.

And as these images show, some sites are virtually unrecognisable from a decade ago.

Here are just five areas that have seen large developments or a change in layout that have altered the look and infrastructure of our city.

We have created picture sliders for Carrow Road, Dereham Road, Grapes Hill, Blue Boar Lane and Rosary Road.

Each of these areas have seen large developments with flats being built on empty land, the road widened and having new estates built.

The new buildings on Rosary Road have been built on the land that used to be home to Norwich City’s Nest.

Grapes Hill has been widened to nearly twice the size as a bus and taxi lane is added as well as new block of flats being built at the bottom on the hill, at Dereham Road.

Blue Boar Lane has seen a new estate built with the creation of Hall Wood Road and Carrow Road has seen 250 flats built next to the football stadium.
