A Norwich woman who dreamed of starting a line dancing group has been forced to retire after no one was interested in her classes.
June Wilson, line dance instructor and choreographer has received no interest in her line dancing classes and has therefore retired “for good”.
Mrs Wilson said: “I am upset, depressed, discouraged and insulted. All that work, I choreographed two dozen original line dances, promoted the classes and yet nobody came.
“It is incredible, hell will freeze over before I choreograph another line dance.”
Mrs Wilson sent copies of all her dances created to songs by Dwight Yoakham to him in Los Angeles.
She added: “I do have a very special item which I created to ‘from this moment on’ by Shania Twain. I would be happy to perform this to any club in Norwich where people are interested in witnessing original creativity in dance.
“I can not stress how unique moment is, it is original, innovative and breaks new ground in the dancing world. It most certainly isn’t normal line dancing.
“I listen to new country music which I enjoy and the moves come, they just come.”
