Traffic in Norwich city centre is heavier than normal this evening.

Queues are forming on many of the main routes in and out of the city, in what could be the consequence of normal rush hour traffic combined with last minute Christmas shoppers.

A number of city shopping centres and stores are open late this week in the run up to the big day.
