It's hot - and it's getting hotter!
The Royal Norfolk Showground was bathed in beautiful summer sunshine today as the biggest event in the county's agricultural and social calendar got off to a perfect start.
Up to 100,000 people will be flocking to the site at Costessey on the edge of Norwich, but traffic flowed relatively freely as the early starters arrived.
The animals were being kept cool as temperatures rose and show organisers have urged people to be sensible with a forecast of hot and sunny weather today and tomorrow.

Show manager Sarah de Chair said: 'The Royal Norfolk Show really does have something to offer everyone.
'Whether your interest lies in watching livestock, seeing exciting grand ring displays, shopping at the wide variety of stands and craft stalls, tasting fabulous food in the Food Hall or just enjoying a wonderful family day out, it is all possible at the Show.'
