The East Of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust is staging a life-saving skills roadshow in Norwich tomorrow, from 9am to 4pm.
The trust's community partnership team will be at The Forum to teach basic life-saving skills on resuscitation dummies and talk about the volunteer schemes which run in the county.
Andrew Barlow, the trust's community partnership manager, said: 'This is the ultimate Christmas gift which we can pass on for almost anyone to give. The period of time between someone collapsing from cardiac arrest and getting their heart started again is the single most important factor to their survival.
'Although it sounds like a dramatic scenario, with the correct training almost anyone has the potential to save a life. We are putting on this event so that life-saver could be you.'
Mr Barlow will also be talking about Community First Responder schemes at the event.
