The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) shared the festive joy yesterday by hosting its annual Christmas fayre in the east atrium on the main hospital site.

The event, which raised money for the hospital charity hosted alpacas and Father Christmas giving gifts to children in his grotto.

Entertainment came from 14-year-old Perry Cooke who competed in ITV's reality singing competition The Voice Kids earlier this year and who has previously raised money for the hospital charity. Chef Richard Hughes was also there answering cookery questions.

Visitors were also able to browse a variety of stalls and purchase books, toys, gifts, clothes and jewellery. There was plenty of seasonal food to buy including homemade cakes.

Louise Cook, fundraising manager, said: 'There was something for all age groups and the fayre was a chance to look for something different as a gift for families and friends, while helping the hospital raise funds at the same time. A fantastic time was had by all.'
