The next subject of a talk held by the Norfolk and Waveney Prostate Cancer Support Group has been announced.

The talk, on Monday, June 4, will look at new treatment for metastatic cancer.

Cancer becomes metastatic when it breaks away from where it first formed to travel through the blood or lymph system to other parts of the body.

All prostate cancer patients, as well as their families, are welcome to the open meeting from 7pm in the Benjamin Gooch Lecture Theatre, at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

Dr Rob Wade, consultant oncologist at the hospital, will be the speaker.

Free car-parking and light refreshments will be provided. For more information, call George or Jill Siely on 01692 650617.

The Norfolk and Waveney Prostate Cancer Support Group was set up in 2004 and provides help and advice to men and their families suffering with the disease.
