Persistent cough? Breathlessness? A cancer roadshow is coming to Norwich - and they want you to be aware of signs and symptoms that could indicate the disease.
The Be Clear on Cancer Roadshow will be at Castle Mall on Wednesday, July 5, and Thursday, July 6.
The roadshow is part of a campaign by Public Health England (PHE), and aims to raise awareness of the signs of heart and lung disease and lung cancer and to encourage those with symptoms to visit the doctor. Finding these conditions early makes them more treatable.
Barbara Paterson, deputy director of health and wellbeing at PHE East of England, said: 'A persistent cough or becoming breathless doing things you used to be able to do, could be a sign of something serious. It's important to visit your GP – you won't be wasting anyone's time.'
