If it's wild you want it's wild you'll get – especially from the Mustard office when it's time to start the weekend! But for those wanting their wildlife a bit more 'David Attenborough on a Sunday afternoon' than 'Darren Eadie on a Friday night' The Mustard Show was the place to be this week.

Adventure was in the air and a bona fide adventurer was on the sofa. Martin Clarke came direct from the airport to the Mustard studio on Tuesday to regale us with some gripping and heart-warming stories from his years spent in the wilds of Africa. If you want to know what it takes to raise a leopard (yes, a leopard) and release it into the wild, Martin's your man. Ditto if you've ever wondered it might be like to track gorillas or come face to face with deadly crocs and cobras. Martin survived all this and more to tell his tales and we were glad to hear them.

Another friend of the show, naturalist Nick Acheson, is also just back from his own far-flung adventures in foreign climes. Nick has returned from Russia with love, and with a load of lovely photographs too. Having gone to the Motherland to study the rare (there are only 200 left in the world!) spoon-billed sandpiper, Nick got a lot more than he bargained for when he started poking his lens about. Dan Bancroft and Beth Davison will be rifling through his rucksack for the best of Nick's pics so be on the look-out for some breathtaking encounters with a whole lot of birds and one very scary looking bear…

Tomorrow is our 100th Mustard Show and helping us celebrate this landmark is renowned author and television scriptwriter, Mark Pearson. He'll be talking us through life on The Bill, Holby City and Doctors as well as life living in Norfolk. Joining Mark is Simon Finch, the man behind the coming Voewood Festival - a literary and arts showpiece once described as the best garden party imaginable.

This year's Voewood line-up includes a 15-year old making her festival debut and Mike Heron taking to the stage 45 years to the day after he did the same at Woodstock. There's also Midge Ure, John Hurt, ex-Sex Pistol Glen Matlock, Paul Young's band Los Pacaminos, and bestselling author DBC Pierre. Beyond that Voewood House itself is listed as one of the 100 most iconic of the 20th Century and it boasts Grade 1 listed gardens for all to enjoy. So, plenty to talk to Simon about - not least how a humble antiquarian bookseller came to own and renovate this rock 'n roll country pile.

Don't forget you can always catch up with any Mustard Show with our new EXTENDED FOURTEEN DAY On Demand service. Just go to www.mustardtv.co.uk/show, click in, sit back and enjoy.

PICK OF THE WEEK:

• 3 Up Front Extra – Norwich City v Celta Vigo. (On Demand)

Last Friday saw the Canaries take on Spanish La Liga stalwarts Celta Vigo for their final pre-season friendly before the long Championship season ahead. Last night saw Mustard's first foray into the world of football highlights.

Michael Bailey was the host and James Shelton the commentator for a game which provided a valuable test for Neil Adams' squad – and Mustard's production team. The City manager will have learned plenty from the 2-2 draw at Carrow Road, and we have too. We certainly look forward to bringing our viewers plenty more Norwich City action and analysis as our boys look to bounce back to the Premier League at the first attempt.

For the new Championship season, 3 Up Front will be back to its usual full-fat 30-minute slot on Thursdays. Join Michael and a panel that includes City legend Iwan Roberts for tonight's big preview of this weekend's big Championship kick-off: Mustard TV, Freeview Channel 8, 9.15pm, repeated on Friday at 9.15pm.

RIVERS OF GOLD

• The Music Mash: On air Wednesdays & Thursday at 7.15pm and On Demand all the time!

Tune into Si Holden for his latest weekly round-up of who, how and where Norfolk has been rocking most. Si was at last weekend's VW Whitenoise festival near Thetford for a pre-performance catch-up with local bands Twisted Piglet and Rivers. Whilst checking on the bands and the Beetles, he also found time to bag an exclusive first TV airing of Rivers' new video for their single, Phoenix.

Be sure to check out that beautifully shot vid along with Si's weekly 'What's On' and more music from unsigned Norwich indie rockers, Montagues and Capulets.

If you're in a band and have a track, gig or vid you think Si should be shouting about, tweet him @mustardtv using #musichmash.

DAN THE MAN

Dan Zelos is the sixteen-year-old speedster getting set to take the motorsport world by storm. Competing in the ITV4-televised Ginetta Junior Championship, Dereham's Dan is now racing full-time and he'll be telling Phil Armes and Tom Vince all about his need for speed and passion a career that begun at the tender age of four.

Also under starters orders in the studio are Andrew Milbourn, Chairman of England Basketball for the Eastern region, and two-time Olympian Paul Evans – the man leading Active Norfolk's 'Startrack' initiative, a summer athletics festival for people of all abilities aged 8-15.

• Sports 'n' All Friday, 7.45pm
