The official Sport Relief 2012 socks go on sale today - so make sure you get yours in time for the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile in Norwich on Sunday, March 25.

The official Sport Relief 2012 socks go on sale today – so make sure you get yours in time for the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile in Norwich on Sunday, March 25.

The Union Jack-inspired socks cost £2.50 with at least £1.25 going to Sport Relief and are part of the official merchandise range available at Sainsbury’s.

The route around the city begins at The Forum, takes in the Castle, the Guildhall and will end up in Chapelfield Gardens, with one, three or six-mile options.

The Evening News is working with the Norfolk Community Foundation and Sport Relief to give away £50,000 in grants of between £500 and £1,000.

The grants are available to community groups, social enterprises and charities for people in the Norwich City Council local authority area.
