Fusion screen at the Forum will help promote next year’s City of Ale festival in Norwich
Next year's City of Ale festival will have the use of the Fusion digital gallery at the Forum to promote the event.
Organisers of the 2012 event have been meeting regularly since September to discuss next year's celebration of fine ales in the city.
And a meeting at the Murderers in Timberhill yesterday was told that the screen would be available for use for most of next year's event, which will run between May 31 and June 10.
Frances and Michael Holmes, of Norwich Heritage Projects, have organised the use of the screen, and Mrs Holmes said: 'We will be able to show pub and beer-related videos on the screen to promote the City of Ale festival, and it will also be a celebration of Norwich as a whole.
'The screen will be available to us from May 28 to June 9.'
The meeting was also given an update on plans to invite a select group of beer writers to Norwich in January to help promote the event.
A draft itinerary for the weekend of January 27-29 was unveiled, including stop-offs at several city pubs and visits to local breweries, with the writers to be put up in hotels and bed and breakfasts in the city.
