A Norwich take away which was given a zero hygiene rating by the council earlier this year has made significant improvements.
Hot Grill Kebabs and Pizza on Bishop Bridge Road was visited by inspectors in March and told they were in need of urgent improvement.
They were penalised for not having up to date paperwork and for failing in a number of areas of food safety.
A re-inspection of the premises by Norwich City Council's food safety team however has awarded the takeaway 4 stars - meaning hygiene is good.
Owner Mehmet Alper said: 'It has been a difficult few months, we have been keeping on top of everything since the inspection and ensuring all the paperwork for the business is in order. I hope the people of Norwich come back, we are working hard behind the scenes. I want to get 5 stars the next time I am inspected'.
