In case you missed them, here are five stories that caught our eye this week.
•Norfolk is an Oscar nominated film location after Charlotte Rampling was nominated for an Academy Award for her role in 45 Years. The film was shot on location across the county and includes scenes at the House Cafe in St Benedicts Street in Norwich, the King of Hearts cafe on Magdalen Street, Assembly Rooms and The Paddle Steamer at Horning.
•There was uproar on social media after a security guard at Castle Mall in Norwich poured a bucket of icy water over homeless men sitting outside. The shopping centre launched an investigation. The security guard has now been suspended.
•People were evacuated from their homes in Norwich after subsidence caused large cracks to appear in a terraced house. It is still not known when the affected residents will be allowed to move back into their homes on Gertrude Road.
• Winter has arrived. Snow, ice and high winds caused travel chaos. Fallen trees, icy roads and flooding all caused disruption for Norfolk drivers as the county saw the first flurry of snow in 2016. Norwich Airport was also affected with flights cancelled due to ice and slush.
•Lewis Grabban is worth £8m! The 28-year-old returned to his former club Bournemouth and the Canaries are believed to have made a £4.5m in profit on the striker.
