Firefighters on Wednesday spent around half-an-hour rescuing a dog trapped in a locked vehicle.
A Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the owner of the vehicle had inadvertantly locked the keys in the vehicle with the dog.
The dog had reportedly been trapped in the car 'for several hours'.
An appliance from Sprowston attended the scene.
'The crew was on the scene for around half-an-hour to release the dog,' said the spokesman adding that 'small gear' had been used in the rescue.
