Norwich Does Vintage, organised by Gresham-based firm Britain Does Vintage, attracted independent sellers and a wide audience at the OPEN, on Norwich's Bank Plain, on Saturday, November 18.

Items for sale dated from just before the 1940s to the 1990s and included jewellery, army jackets, lighting and bags.

Alex Atkinson, 30, founder of Britain Does Vintage, said: 'Vintage has been popular for a decade now. People buy into the authenticity of it. They like the ethics surrounding it. Vintage is made to last. The fabrics are much more lasting than clothes sold on the high street. Vintage clothes are also often more affordable.'

Seller Cathy Ray, from the Wells area, said: 'OPEN is a great venue. It attracts a younger audience. Norwich is quirky.'
