Teams of Norwich students have worked with a leading local firm to find real solutions to business problems.
The students from University Technical College Norfolk (UTC) took part in the activities with Aviva, the latest in a series of employer challenges. The one-day event had a tech focus and saw the groups challenged to come up with ways to better integrate the business' website and app with social media.
Using coding, flow diagrams, visuals and wire-frames, the students presented their ideas at the end of the day, with a final three chosen before the winning group - of Joshua Davis, Alex Rukaber, Oliver Grantham and Nick Knopp - were selected as winners.
Their idea centred on the application of voice-controlled technology to the processes of finding out about, and applying for, insurance policies.
Joshua, a year 12 student, said he was proud of what the group had achieved.
