An estimated 400 adults turned out to support an annual primary school festival which will fund pupils going on a whole-school trip to a dinosaur park.
A Magdalen Gates Has Got Talent contest was a highlight for many, with pupils from the school in Norwich performing gymnastics, beat box and piano routines.
Children at the school, all of whom play musical instruments, also showed off their skills on samba drums, ukuleles and other instruments.
The event was also included in Radio Norfolk's Treasure Quest programme.
Sally Mann, a parent governor and organiser of the Friends of Magdalen Gates, said: 'The sun has held out for us. We went for the wet weather plan at 11.15am, but despite the weather we have seen as many people through the gates as normal.'
