Norwich youngsters get into the Christmas spirit

Dozens of youngsters got in the Christmas spirit when Santa Claus visited their playgroup.
Spixworth Baby and Toddler Group held its festive party today.
Nearly 40 youngsters aged up to three and a half donned their party outfits and Christmas dresses for the event.
They were entertained by Charlie Cheesecake and got the chance to meet Father Christmas.
Sarah Russell, who runs the playgroup with Sarah Kirk, said: 'It was brilliant, really lovely. The children loved it.'

The playgroup, which is based at Spixworth Village Hall, has been running for more than 25 years. Mrs Russell has been running it for two years.
