Chance for young people to make music in Norwich at half-term

Band skills workshops, including one just for girls, are being offered in Norwich this half term.

Community Music East (CME) has teamed up with Girl-r-Loud to run one-day Rock Schools in Norwich.

The workshops, at Access to Music in King Street are aimed at 11 to 18-year-olds to improve their playing and vocal skills, develop song writing skills and pick up performance tips in a creative and fun environment.

The workshops are part funded by Youth Music, which aims to transform young people’s lives through music.

Rock School is on Thursday, February 16 and Girls-r-Loud is on Friday, February 17. Both workshops run from 10am to 5pm.
