Easton Villagers aim to raise money with potato competition near Norwich

Villagers are invited to take part in a potato growing competition to raise money for facilities in Easton, near Norwich.

The Grow Your Own Spuds competition begins on Saturday, March 12 at the annual jumble sale, where budding gardeners can pick up grow bags and seed.

The final crop of potatoes will be weighed on Sunday, June 12 at Easton Village Hall when villagers hold a Walking Treasure Hunt.

Entry costs £2 with the money used to help fund a new village hall and a recreational project.
