A team of public service students clubbed together recently to help carry out a spring clean of the outdoor area of an Earlham church.
The group of eight from Sewell Park College, off Constitution Hill in the north of the city, are nearing the end of their course and used their skills to weed and tidy the grounds of St Anne's Church, off Colman Road.
A spokesman for the church said: 'The enthusiastic volunteers worked untiringly to weed and to tidy the grounds in St Anne's. They organised themselves into groups, determined to finish the job in the days allotted.
'Tutor Debbie Bush from Elite encouraged them to show initiative, leadership and teamwork. Their hard work has made a huge difference to the appearance of the grounds in front of the church and hall.'
'From all at St Anne's a huge thank you and well done.'
