A partially sighted dog is looking for a permanent new home.

Damson is currently staying at the Dogs Trust rehoming centre in Snetterton.

Her keepers describe her as a “lovely lady” and “sweet natured” who “loves fuss and attention” – but said the eight-year-old rottweiler would prefer to be the only pet in her new home.

A spokesman from the centre said: “This lovely lady is partially sighted and requires ongoing medication, but help towards this can be provided from Dogs Trust.

“Damson’s ideal home would be quiet and have a predictable routine that she can settle into, preferably with children aged over 16.

“She’s a loyal girl and walks well on the lead.

“If sweet-natured Damson is the dog you have been waiting for, please call Dogs Trust Snetterton on 0300 303 0292 or visit www.dogstrust.org.uk for more information.”

Dogs Trust is the UK’s leading dog welfare charity. It has a network of 20 rehoming centres in the UK and one in Dublin.

The charity cares for around 15,000 strays, unwanted and abandoned dogs each year.
