Details of road closures around Norwich for Lord Mayor’s Celebrations
Several roads in Norwich city centre will be closed for extended periods of time this weekend because of the Lord Mayor's Celebrations.
Saturday will see Bethel Street closed between St Peters Street and the Millennium Library car park entrance and St Peters Street closed between Gaol Hill and Bethel Street from 7am until 6am Sunday morning.
Newmarket Road will follow suit Saturday afternoon between 1pm and 7pm between its junctions with Mile End Road and Ipswich Road, as will St Georges Street between midday and 4pm.
From 3pm until 1am Sunday morning, the following city centre roads will then be closed for the Lord Mayor's procession:

The alternative routes for traffic will be fully sign-posted to direct vehicles along the outer city ring road.
