Having recently premiered on Huw Stephens' BBC Radio 1 show, Demob Happy are set to embark on their headline UK tour stopping at The Waterfront Studio in Norwich on April 12.
Their headline tour will commence straight off the back of supporting Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes in March all across Europe.
Most recently Demob Happy have revealed new single 'Loosen It' taken from their forthcoming second album 'Holy Doom' due for release on March 23 via SO Recordings.
The single arrives a tightly wound, dagger-toothed and grisly statement of intent. 'Take another step across the divide. Loosen up or risk losing something good,' frontman Matt Marcantonio warns of the track's muse.
Renowned music publications like Kerrang! and DIY have already praised the single saying that it's 'certain to make you fall even more in love with Demob Happy' and it's 'funky, wild and a little bit on the shoegazey side, this is drenched with rock swagger.'
A deep introspective trip for the ages, 'Holy Doom' sees the Newcastle-formed, Brighton-based trio peering into the depths of the human soul. This remarkable album pinballs between pure holiness and the lure of the devil, often within the space of one whirlwind song.
Recorded over the summer of 2017 with Ian Davenport (Band of Skulls, Gaz Coombes) in Oxfordshire, with the drums recorded by 'Dream Soda' deskman Christoph Skirl, 'Holy Doom' was mixed by Adrian Bushby (Foo Fighters, Muse) and mastered by Geoff Pesche (Pulp, New Order) at London's Abbey Road Studios.
Tickets for the Norwich show are available for £10 advance from the UEA Box Office.
