A group of mates from all over the globe, who used to meet for a kickabout on a Saturday morning, decided they would like to make things a bit more official.

Iffy has noticed that this week's opponents Briston Wanderers have won all of their four league games but when asked how he fancied his team's chances of staying at the top he replied: 'I don't wish to sound cocky but the league is ours, bring it on.'

Briston on the other hand joined the league this season after 14 years of youth and Crusader league football. The club, formed by Linda and Ian Snell amongst others, still boasts six players from the youth team days. Secretary Linda said: 'We're not sure how well we will do this season as we don't know many of our opponents, but we have made a good start.' She pointed out Chris Fuller is a player to look out for, some of his performances leading to Colchester United watching him in recent weeks. The game is at Brittania Barracks (10.30ko).
