Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Norwich City Centre.
The crime happened between 7.30pm and 8pm on Saturday, January 24, when police were called to reports that a woman had been assaulted in Timberhill in the city centre.
The victim, a woman in her 50s, was approached by a man and an altercation took place. The man is then believed to have pushed the victim to the ground, resulting in a twisted knee.
The male suspect is white, aged between 18 and 25, of medium build, with short, fair, cropped hair and was wearing a blue jacket and dark trousers.
Anyone who witnessed the assault or has any information regarding it should contact PC Michael Pearce at Bethel Street Police Station on 101, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
