Burglars stole thousands of pounds of jewellery and a war medal from a home by Eaton golf course.

Between 6pm and 9pm on Friday December 9 the burglars forced their way into a home on Constable Road through a rear window and stole jewellery including gold pendants, earrings, bracelets, rings, a pocket watch and a campaign medal with the word Radfan on it.

Radfan was a campaign fought by British soldiers in Yemen in the early sixties.
