The force attended the property on Beaconsfield Road in Norwich at 9.50am on Monday, June 11.

At 2pm two police cars and two police vans remained outside the terraced house.

An officer at the scene, who did not want to be named, said: 'We conducted a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant and have taken down a cannabis cultivation.'

She would not confirm if anyone had been arrested or charged for drugs offences.

The house is a mid-terrace home on the long street which links Silver Road and A1151, which turns into Sprowston Road.

Residents on the street said they were aware of the police presence but there had been no major disruption.

One woman said she heard police officers knock-on the door of the terraced house.

Another resident said he saw a forensics van on the street.
