Police officers were called to a city centre bank this afternoon after a customer arrived with a group of homeless people.
Staff at Barclays on Red Lion Street called the police at 2.50pm as a precaution after the customer arrived with up to seven homeless people.
The group had asked the customer to withdraw money.
Two police cars could be seen outside the bank, one with blue lights in use.
A spokesperson for Norfolk Constabulary confirmed no money was withdrawn.
She added officers were called as a precaution and had left the scene by approximately 3.30pm.
