Officers used 'tactical contact' to end a police pursuit along Norfolk's east coast.
Police gave chase to a blue Volkswagen Golf convertible at around 9.45pm on Sunday when it failed to stop in Great Yarmouth.
It resulted in a teenager being arrested on suspicion of various driving offences, including having no insurance.
PC Lee said officers pursued the driver out of Great Yarmouth along Caister Road.
He said they used 'tactical contact' to stop the vehicle on Yarmouth Road in Ormesby St Margaret.
A 17-year-old was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving with no insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a provisional licence.
PC Lee said: 'The vehicle was seized and minor damage was caused to two police vehicles as a result of the tactical contact.'
The teenager remains in police custody.
