A Norfolk based animal sanctuary has teamed up with an ethical cosmetic company to help raise funds.

Hillside Animal Sanctuary is holding at event at the Norwich branch of Lush - Handmade Cosmetics, based on Gentleman’s Walk in the city centre.

The sanctuary was founded in 1995 to help and campaign for animals in need and to raise public awareness of the millions of animals suffering every day in the factory farming industry where most of the residents at Hillside have been rescued from.

Hillside is now home to over 1000 animals between its sanctuaries at Frettenham and West Runton.

The money raised will go towards food costs, vet bills and general care.

The event is happening on Thursday, March 10 from 5pm till 7pm.

The Hillside team will be there with information about the organisation, Hillside merchandise and adoption packs, along with some rescued ponies for people to meet.

Pulse Café Bar will be providing complementary samples and there will also be a raffle of items donated by Lush.

Raffle tickets are currently on sale at Lush now.
