A Mousehold teenager caught in possession of cannabis with a street value of �750 has been fined.
Harry Waplington, 19, was in bed when police executed a raid at his home in of Mousehold Avenue on November 25 last year.
Officers found two wraps of cannabis, and Waplington showed them a rucksack containing 37 more, which he said he had wrapped for himself to control his daily use.
Waplington pleaded guilty to one charge of possession of a Class B drug. He he paid �300 for the drugs in bulk, and said he had been using cannabis since the age of 14.
Norwich magistrates yesterday imposed a �100 fine and �15 surcharge, to be added to his �40.40 court debt.
