London man arrested in Norwich over drug offences

A man from London has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences in Norwich.

Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Action Team stopped a man in Springbank at 2pm on Tuesday and seized a quantity of Class A drugs, cash and a mobile phone.

The man, aged in his 20s, was arrested and currently remains in police custody at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre.

The arrest was part of Operation Gravity which saw more than 350 people arrested in 2017 as part of a drug crackdown across Norfolk.
