House burglary in the north of Norwich

People are being urged to come forward if they have any information following a house burglary in Norwich yesterday.

The incident happened at a property on Pennyroyal, in the north of the city, off Fifter's Lane, sometime between 11.30am and 2.15pm.

The person or persons broke into the property by forcing open a back door and a number of items were stolen including a samsung laptop computer, a white gold engagement ring, a Wii games console, four controllers and a Wii board, a silver charm bracelet, a silver/black Ipod, a D&G silver necklace and a Dell Netbook computer.

A quantity of Zippo lighters were also taken.

The rear of the property faces onto Ives Road and officers would like to speak to anyone who may have spotted anything suspicious in the area or have been offered such items for sale.
