Police are investigating a suspected hate crime after a suitcase was discovered hanging from scaffolding daubed with foul language in Dereham Road, Norwich.

A Norfolk Constabulary spokesman said: “Police are currently investigating a suspected hate crime that was reported to officers yesterday afternoon at a property in Dereham Road. A suitcase was discovered hanging from scaffolding daubed with foul language. Police are currently liaising with the site owners.”

If anyone noticed anything suspicious they should contact Earlham safer neighbourhood Team on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
