Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary that took place in Norwich on Friday.

On December 16 a home on Livingstone Street off Dereham Road was ransacked between 4pm and 11.30pm.

A back door to the property was forced open and the criminals left a trail of damage.

A black handbag which contained cash and cards was taken.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or saw any suspicious behaviour or has knowledge of the crime should contact DC Nick Fish at Bethel Street CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 55111.
