The Mile Cross Phoenix Children's Project, has been running from it's base now on Mile Cross Road for several years, with the object of providing a centre for education, recreation and other social activities for the children and young people of the area.
At the beginning of this year, a new committee was picked to ensure this upheld and expanded on, and with this in mind, the committee have come up with a new weekly diary of events.
Shaun Stearman, joint maintenance officer of Mile Cross Phoenix Children's Centre Project, said: 'We are really trying hard to bring the Phoenix Centre and the local community together not only for Mile Cross but to Norwich as well.
'We truly believe we can give great benefits to the community.'
