A care home is inviting the community to join a sing-along to celebrate Vera Lynn's 100th birthday.
Cavell Court Care Home, on Dragonfly Lane, Cringleford, is inviting people in the village to join them on Saturday (2pm) to strike a chord for the singer's centenary birthday.
The care home team, residents, and local singer Kyle Heltzel, will be ensuring visitors are pitch perfect for the rendition of the popular wartime song 'We'll Meet Again'.
Staff will also be decorating the home with photos and posters of Vera Lynn, and there will be crosswords and puzzles with a Vera Lynn theme.
The care home will also be screening a documentary based on Vera Lynn's life, and there will be afternoon tea prepared by the home's head chef.
Samantha Woods, of the care home, said: 'We are all looking forward to taking a walk down memory lane and having a good sing-along.'
