Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Norwich earlier this month.

It happened on Havers Road at the junction with Mile Cross Road on Saturday May 12 at around 9.50am when a pedestrian, a woman in her late 20s, and an orange car, believed to be a Honda Civic, were involved in a collision.

The man driving the car stopped at the scene and spoke to the pedestrian to check on her welfare.

The collision was later reported to police on May 26 after it was established the pedestrian had suffered a knee injury.

Officers are keen to speak with the driver of the car or from anyone who may have witnessed the collision.

Witnesses should contact PC Dave Moran at Norwich North on 101.
