A car park operator has expressed interest in purchasing the fire-hit site Regent Bowl and Indoor Market Place in Great Yarmouth.
Napier Parking, which most locally has a car park in King's Lynn, got in touch with the EDP/Norwich Evening News to get contact details for the site's owner Phil Thompson.
It was with the interest in purchasing the Regent Road site to become a pay and display car park.
Mr Thompson has said he is not interested in selling the site.
The idea of the site becoming a car park was suggested weeks after the blaze by the mayor of Great Yarmouth, councillor Malcolm Bird, who said it might be a temporary option until finances were gathered to re-build the site.
Mr Thompson said he has been away from the site during its demolition and is waiting to hear back from insurers before a decision can be made on what the next steps will be.
