A construction company has proved its commitment to driving growth after investing £470,000 in expanding its fleet of vans.
Bateman Groundworks' purchase of 45 vans from Holden Renault in Norwich comes just months after the firm spent £1.2m on new plant with other local firms.
The vehicles will replace 30 old Renault vans and bring the company's fleet up to 55, to work between 12 sites for housebuilding clients and its head office in Little Plumstead.
The firm is also looking to grow its 181-strong workforce to fulfil a record number of contracts and widen its portfolio of services.
Managing director Jason Ramsey said investing in the fleet would help Bateman to meet future demands.
'Our five-year business plan will lead us to further growth. The success we had last year was driven by our consistent delivery of the services and programmes that our clients require,' he said.
