With more than 100 businesses gathering today visitors to Norfolk Chamber of Commerce's B2B Exhibition will need to plan how to make the most of it.

With so many businesses to meet, learn from and network with, it pays to be prepared. So here are our five top tips to make sure you come away from the event having made the most of it.

• Bring plenty of business cards

With so many firms and business experts in one place you will need plenty of cards to connect with your new found contacts. It’s a little embarrassing having to scribble your number on a scrap of paper, isn’t it?

• Find out about offers and discounts

At B2B businesses will be running offers you will not find anywhere else and there will be plenty of freebies to take away – so act early or risk missing out.

• Attend the free masterclasses

There is a programme of 20 minute masterclasses, delivered by experts, which will cover a variety of subjects including how to improve your networking skills, using social media and getting the most out of your marketing budget.

• Don’t forget there are two floors

With the event taking place across two floors at Carrow Road it is important to visit both areas to avoid missing out on opportunities.

• Visit the Networking Lounge

If you want to meet in a more informal and relaxed setting head for the networking lounge where you can make new contacts away from the hustle and bustle of the exhibition floor.
