Six Norfolk MPs are set for a grilling on local priorities at an event for the county's business community.

The Norfolk Chamber of Commerce's seventh annual MP's event, taking place tomorrow (Friday), will give businesses the opportunity to discuss issues with their Westminster spokesmen which they feel need addressing.

Topics at this year's event, at the Holiday Inn North in Norwich, will include skills, young people, infrastructure, broadband and mobile coverage, and Brexit.

More than 120 key business decision makers are booked to attend alongside MPs Sir Henry Bellingham (West Norfolk), Norman Lamb (North Norfolk), Richard Bacon (South Norfolk), Keith Simpson (Broadland), George Freeman (Mid Norfolk) and Clive Lewis (Norwich South).

Hosted by BBC political correspondent Carole Walker, the event will feature a series of interviews with the MPs based on issues highlighted by the attending businesses.

Norfolk Chamber's chief executive, Caroline Williams, said: 'Recently, Norfolk has become more visible to Westminster. The Norfolk Chamber has been influential in securing audiences with key politicians, at national level, and giving the region the opportunity to have its business voice heard.

'This is a great opportunity to hear from and be heard by some of Norfolk's most influential people.'

The event is sponsored by Norse, Holiday Inn and Greater Anglia. Full details are available at www.norfolkchamber.co.uk
