Blaze rips through Thorpe Hamlet garages

A blaze which ripped through five garages in Thorpe Hamlet is suspected to have been started by arsonists.

The fire in the garages in St Leonard's Road, Norwich, started just before 3.30am on Saturday and firefighters spent more than an hour battling the flames.

Two fire engines from Norwich and one from Sprowston tackled the blaze and had put it out by 4.45am.

It is believed the fire was started deliberately.
