A young Norwich City supporter has received a signed Canaries shirt following an appeal by a Sunderland fan.

Earlier in January, Bob West from Durham, asked readers to get in touch if they wanted a free Norwich shirt, signed by the 2014/15 promotion-winning squad.

The 60-year-old won the item three years ago in a competition with Aviva and wanted to give it to someone who would appreciate it more.

Little Plumstead primary school pupil Isaac Britton, aged seven, was chosen to receive it.

Meanwhile, his uncle, Ben, who is a Norwich season ticket holder, received Mr West's programme from the 1985 Milk Cup Final in which Norwich beat Sunderland.

In an email to the family, Mr West said he chose Isaac as he believed he was a true Canaries fan.

'I hope you enjoy the shirt and the programme, and when you are a top footballer with Norwich, you can send me your autograph,' he said.
