Parents get ready to party as Big Fish Little Fish family rave returns to the city.

The event, which has been running for five years, encourages parents to be 'responsibly irresponsible' and party with their children.

Big Fish Little Fish, who have run also run events at Glastonbury Festival and The National Gallery, will be at Epic Studios in Magdalen Street on October 21 2018.

The rave will have a 'Sailing the Seven Seas' theme, and will include themed crafts, giant balloons, glitter cannons and the famous 'BFLF parachute dance'.

Fancy dress is encouraged at the event and 'old-school' music will be played by DJ Nookie and DJ Trax and percussionist Paul Fistfunk Crowley will also perform.

A spokesman for Big Fish Little Fish Rave said: 'Music is chosen specifically to appeal to grown-ups but the children love dancing along too and drum'n'bass in particular goes down a storm with everyone.'

The event is for families with younger children, aged eight and under, and music is played at a safe level.

Big Fish Little Fish rave runs from 2pm to 4pm and tickets can be purchased from the website.
