A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape following an incident in Lowestoft in the early hours of New Year's Day.
Police were called to the St Peters Street / Alexandra Road area at about 4.30am on January 1 and are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anyone in the area at this time and are particularly keen to hear from a man called Simon who called police in the early hours but who has since been uncontactable.
The 24-year-old has been bailed to return to Lowestoft police station on February 24.
