Appeal after man shows teenage girl explicit images on bus from Norwich to Yarmouth

POLICE are looking for a man who showed explicit photographs to a teenage girl on a bus going from Norwich to Great Yarmouth.

The incident took place on the X1 bus at Norwich bus station between the times of 4.50pm and 5.50pm last Wednesday.

The 17-year-old girl boarded the vehicle at Norwich bus station and a man sat behind her and, without warning, began to show her explicit photographs on his mobile phone.

He then became angry and aggressive and another man on the bus intervened.

The suspect is described as white, of dirty appearance with ginger stubble, wearing glasses, a blue knitted hat with football logo on the front and a blue jacket.

It is thought there were a number of other people on the bus, including school children, who may have witnessed the man's behaviour and police are asking the male who stepped in to assist, anyone who may have seen the incident, or anyone with information about the man involved to call PC Ricki Peake on 101.
