Poorly children are set to be given a dose of panto fun.

As part of Starlight Children's Foundation's recently-launched Christmas of Happiness campaign, ill youngsters at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital are set to enjoy a performance of Aladdin on Friday.

The production, which has been created exclusively for the charity by theatre group The Panto Company, is part of an eight-week panto tour, visiting 100 hospitals and hospices across the country.

Emma Dolman, senior nurse at the N&N, said: 'This time of year can be a really difficult time for kids that are stuck in hospitals and hospices and Starlight's pantomime really gives our young patients and their families something to look forward to.'
