An 11-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital today after being injured in a rugby match.
The boy injured his neck while playing on a pitch at Bridge Road, High Kelling.
Anglia One, the air ambulance serving Norfolk and Suffolk, was called and landed at around 1.30pm.
A spokesman for the East Anglian Air Ambulance said the medical crew assessed the boy and immobilised his spine before flying him to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. His condition on arrival was said to be stable.
